I was glad to join the White Lion’s community fundraiser in January, which generated £1600 for Medical Aid for Palestinians. This money will support the charity’s vital work supporting the starving and injured in Gaza under extremely dangerous and challenging conditions for healthcare workers. The White Lion is a fantastic community pub, which exemplifies how important such spaces are to the fabric of local life. I’m grateful to Steve and the team for all their work putting this event on.
