Everyone over the age of 11 who lives or works in Lambeth should take a Covid-19 PCR test as soon as possible.
This weekend, I visited the Streatham Library pop-up vaccine clinic organised by Valley Road surgery, where it was good to see some familiar faces, including brilliant volunteer David, who I met a month ago or so when I visited the Baldry Gardens clinic.
This weekend, I paid a visit to the South London Islamic Centre to see their pop-up vaccine clinic in action. It’s absolutely essential that we maximise vaccine uptake across our community so it was great to see people from different faiths coming together to get their first dose.

At the start of this week, MPs had a chance to vote on an action plan to address the cladding scandal. Since the Grenfell tragedy in 2017, Ministers have promised to take action to get dangerous cladding off buildings no less than fifteen times.
This week I’m supporting the Terence Higgins Trust’s Give HIV the Finger campaign to raise awareness about testing and treatment for HIV. Medical science has made so much progress when it comes to treating and testing for HIV but there is still a lot of work to be done.
