It was lovely to see so many people out in the sun on Streatham Common enjoying London’s premier kite festival. For years now, the Friends of Streatham Common volunteers have worked hard to bring our community together, overcoming the vagaries of British weather and pandemics, to put on a fantastic day of family-friendly fun centred on kites. Thousands of people flocked to the to see some flying displays, have a go at kite-flying and sample the delicious food and drink on offer at the stalls. Thank you once again to everyone who helped to put it on.
