Everything is in place to start vital repairs at Corpus Christi school – closed since July due to RAAC. This week, I asked the government why they have failed to approve funding for these works. Further delay will just leave students, teachers and parents facing more disruption, with no building to learn in for the next academic year if repairs do not begin in January.

Update: As of 21st December 2023, I am relieved to say the government has now signed off funding for RAAC remediation work at Corpus Christi Primary School after months of uncertainty. School buildings are crumbling under the Tory government. Funding repairs and communicating this to affected schools is the least they can do.
