I joined PINT (People in Need Today) Giving for one of their weekly food distribution sessions outside the Streatham Odeon. This service is a lifeline for the increasing numbers struggling to afford the basics in our area. I’m proud to support such vital work but sorry to see yet another group having to step up and fill the gap left by government.
Across London, PINT are providing food and other essentials to hundreds of people, with 45-60 people
regularly attending their Streatham soup kitchen. They are always looking out for volunteers to help give out food and have a chat with people. They also want to talk to local cafes and small businesses about the possibility of donating food which would otherwise go to waste.
Please do reach out to me if you think you might be able to help them with either of these things!
