I’m calling on Streatham’s shopkeepers to get some of the recognition they deserve by nominating themselves for the nationwide Best Small Shops competition.
The competition, run by Indie Retail UK, is open until the 11th September 2020, with a shortlist announced in October and five winners announced in November. You can submit your entry over at www.bestsmallshops.co.uk
The judges will be looking for evidence of entrepreneurial spirit, business innovation and community impact in your submissions.
Small businesses aren’t just the lifeblood of the local economy, they’re the lifeblood of the community and we’ve seen this in our local response to COVID-19. Let’s help Streatham’s independent businesses get the recognition they deserve.
