I joined this year’s Windrush Vigil, commemorating seven years since news of the Windrush Scandal first broke. As we honoured victims of the scandal, we were joined by the Minister for Citizenship & Migration, Seema Malhotra MP, who reiterated the government’s commitment to deliver a fair compensation scheme. I was glad to hear her commit to a “fundamental reset” for the Windrush Generation.
