I walked to school with pupils, parents and teachers from Richard Atkins Primary to see how they’ve been getting on during the latest phase of the pandemic. It was great to see how many of them are walking and otherwise travelling to school by sustainable transport. Air pollution has fallen across London but some kids in our borough still attend schools with illegal levels. There were also some very fair questions from students about when Boris Johnson is going to do the right thing and resign for breaking the rules they and their families were expected to stick to during lockdown.
