Our area is truly blessed with some amazing green spaces. It was an absolute pleasure to visit Papa’s Park, one of them, with Councillor James Bryan. We talked about some of the issues in this part of the constituency and volunteers’ future plans for this community asset.
Papa’s Park is a volunteer-run park that was established in 1996 when local residents banded together to save a derelict council-run play area. Almost 30 years on, their efforts have made this park into a cherished community resource. Having access to green spaces is crucial for our health and wellbeing. It’s vital that we keep working to protect them.
