On National Postal Workers Day, we thanked the postal workers who deliver for Clapham and Brixton Hill day in, day out. It was great to visit Brixton Delivery Office during their busiest time of the year to deliver my gratitude to local posties in person. It is not a secret that Royal Mail’ s service quality has fallen short in recent years. In parts of our constituency, the company is currently operating a reduced service. Royal Mail’s new owners must must listen to its staff, honour the agreement signed with the union to improve services, and address the recruitment crisis—one major factor behind delays.
