It was a pleasure to visit 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning for the debut screening of Two and a Half Questions from local filmmakers Marsha and Clovis Lowe, a documentary which explores questions of race and identity in modern Britain. I was lucky enough to be interviewed for this film last year. It’s a really interesting piece which focuses on the different experiences and aspirations of Windrush generation descendants.
Marsha and Clovis’s Oxygen Arts company was funded by Lambeth’s Elevate Neighbourhoods programme. In putting this film together, they also helped train over thirty local young people in photography and filmmaking. They’re currently looking to put the film on during Windrush celebrations later this year so keep your eyes peeled for it.
