In the past week, I had the pleasure of attending two Streatham Labour Party’s new members’ socials at the Streatham Tate Library and Portcullis house last week. It was great to see so many new faces and hear new members reflect on what motivated them to join our movement. 

I was also joined by local councillors and elected officers of the CLP who were also thrilled to meet our new members. The night was full of engaging conversations about how new members can get involved at the grassroots level as well as discussions about their visions for the Labour movement in Streatham and beyond.
