I spoke in a Westminster Hall Debate about the case for decriminalising abortion. Women are being tried and investigated for ending their pregnancies under antiquated laws, including in cases of pregnancy loss. This approach serves no one well and highlights the urgent need to remove abortion from the criminal law. I will be supporting law changes to this effect when the Victims and Courts Bill comes back before Parliament.
