It’s true that Labour MPs and Tory MPs don’t often agree on much. But we are united on the importance of the vaccination scheme. This week, I joined other Black MPs from the Conservatives and my own party to make a video promoting uptake of COVID-19 vaccines.

It is so important to ensure that the misinformation circulating about Covid vaccines doesn’t put Black communities at risk. We all have a role to play in getting the facts and challenging misinformation. The best way to find out more about the vaccine is to talk to a trusted health professional, whether it’s your pharmacist or GP.

Elsewhere, I’ve also supported calls for people from Black, Asian, and other ethnic minority groups to be prioritised for the vaccine: https://bellribeiroaddy.com/government-must-put-bame-communities-at-the-heart-of-the-covid-vaccination-drive
