I paid a visit to Railside Community Garden, a fantastic Streatham green space. Since 2018, Streatham Wells residents have been working together to turn this disused patch of land into a beautiful community garden. After a lot of hard work, their dream is finally being realised.

I was very happy to make some funding available to them in order to purchase a skip to help with further development. It’s great to see derelict spaces being reclaimed for community purposes. Hopefully, Railside Garden can serve as a role model for similar green space initiatives across our constituency and our city. Streatham’s green spaces are so important for our collective mental and physical health.
