It was great to join staff from the Rapid Response Team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust as they walked out on strike. They work so hard to keep the hospital clean and stop the spread of infections but barely earn minimum wage and don’t have access to adequate facilities. I was glad to support them this week in their fight to try and change this.
