Bell stands with Centrepoint campaigners in Parliament Square with the Big Ben clock tower behind them. They hold signs that say 'make work pay for young people in supported housing'. There is a wheel of fortune with black and orange segments on it between Bell and the campaigners.

I was glad to join Centrepoint UK in Westminster in support of their Make Work Pay campaign. They are highlighting a longstanding flaw in the system which means young people living in supported accommodation become worse-off as soon as they start working more hours. Removing vital benefits from people who are trying to work runs totally counter to the government’s stated policy of getting more people into work. The Autumn Budget is an opportunity to end the penalisation of young people living in supported accommodation for trying to do more work.
