This summer, I am running a Little Village donation drive. Little Village are a fantastic charity who support local families living in poverty by providing them with good quality second-hand baby clothes and equipment. They are currently in desperate need of:
- Clothes for newborns.
- Clothes for children aged 3-5 years old.
- Toiletries for babies and children: nappies, baby wipes, toothbrushes etc.
I am running a pop-up donation point at my constituency office on Brixton Hill until the 20th June 2025. If you can, please help the charity to restock with any of these items by bringing your pre-loved clothing and baby supplies. You can drop these off at the office. I have run several Little Village donation drives over the last few years to support families in our area. I am very thankful for their vital work, which is very valuable from a sustainability perspective. I am always blown away by the generosity of our community. However, it is simply heartbreaking that more and more families have to turn to charity for basic supplies like nappies and formula. We urgently need to address the poverty, inequality and lack of social security that is driving this.
