This week, I had the pleasure of attending at Edaroth’s (Everyone Deserves a Roof Over Their Head) opening ceremony for the unveiling of its newly converted council homes at the Hillside Gardens properties.

Edaroth brings a refreshing approach to social housing by utilising brownfield sites and off-site manufactured housing. This project converted a former garage into four high-quality homes at council rent for Lambeth Council.

I am pleased to work with Edaroth to close the gap between supply and demand through the construction of truly affordable housing. With over 27,000 people currently on the Lambeth social housing waiting list, replenishing our public housing stock is instrumental to ending the current housing crisis. The Labour party is will continue to make the case for providing decent homes for all.
