Each festive season, my Christmas Card goes out to thousands of people living in the Clapham & Brixton Hill constituency. This year, I’m once again inviting young people in Clapham & Brixton Hill to design it and show off their creativity by entering my 2024 Christmas Card Competition.
The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Kindness in the Community’. I’m looking for designs which remind us of the spirit of togetherness that makes Christmas so important: helping others, connecting with loved ones, and spreading festive joy in our community.
My Christmas Card Competition is open to anyone under the age of eighteen who lives or goes to school in the constituency. Entries can be hand-drawn or designed on a computer. A range of prizes are on offer and my favourite design will go out to people across Clapham & Brixton Hill as my official Christmas card.
I’ll be sharing some of my favourite designs here on my website as well as on my social media channels in the run-up to Christmas. I’m also hoping to find a way of displaying everyone’s fantastic designs so everyone can see how talented pupils in Clapham & Brixton Hill are.
As well as having the chance to see their design sent to lots of people living in the local area, there are also a number of prizes on offer.
The deadline for entries is Sunday 8th December and you can submit these via email on bell.ribeiroaddy.mp@parliament.uk, via social media (be sure to tag me), or via post (Bell Ribeiro-Addy, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA). If you’re posting your entry, make sure you post it nice and early!

Who can enter? Anyone under the age of 18, who lives in Clapham & Brixton Hill or goes to a school in the constituency.
How do I enter? Create your design and then send it to me by email, social media, or post (see above).

What are the prizes? My favourite design will be sent out to thousands of people in our constituency as well as local Labour members and other MPs. There are a number of prizes available for other across several age categories. But I love all your designs and will also be creating a Christmas display to showcase every entry.
