It was great to catch up with the team at Streatham Space Project today, which will be opening its doors in September with social distancing in place.
Too many young people in Streatham have nowhere to go, nothing to do and no one to help them with their problems. Clubs like Hussein’s provide a vital community service, giving them something to do and somewhere to go.
I’m calling on Streatham businesses and residents with any spare laptops, iPads and tablets to donate these to local children who are struggling to get access to remote learning.
With the budget coming up, it’s vital Labour put pressure on the Conservatives to invest properly in education to meet basic educational needs and unlock the full potential of everyone in our area.
This week, I had the pleasure of attending at Edaroth’s (Everyone Deserves a Roof Over Their Head) opening ceremony for the unveiling of its newly converted council homes at the Hillside Gardens properties.
