I’m working in partnership with local baby bank Little Village, who are currently in urgent need of clothes and kit for the families they support. We are planning to run a big donation session together on the morning of Saturday the 23rd of April at St Margaret’s Church (10am-12pm) and are seeking volunteers to help this run smoothly.
While the Tory Government’s response to calls to address racism remains denial and gaslighting, our Labour Council is doing the right thing and starting an honest conversation about our area’s links to the transatlantic slave trade.
On the 4th March 2022, women in Lambeth came together to march in memory of Sarah Everard and mourn all the women lost to male violence. I was unable to attend but sent these words of support.
