Our local small business community brings so much colour and character to our area. It was good to meet with Clapham BID this month at their HQ to catch up on some of the issues facing local businesses in Clapham. We talked about the closure of Clapham Common Post Office, issues around waste collection, antisocial behaviour and the impact of crime on the nighttime economy. We discussed a range of improvements they would like to see for the area, which I will be raising with the relevant bodies over the coming months.
