I was honoured to host the annual Black Child Clean Air Conference in Parliament this week. Air pollution has long been a problem that disproportionately impacts Black and Asian communities, living in areas with higher deprivation. Too many children are growing up exposed to harmful air, with major impacts on their health and development. It was great to hear from doctors, researchers, policy experts and campaigners about how we can work towards healthier air across our communities.
