The reality is that any one of us might need to fall back on the social security system at any point in our lives. We all deserve a well-funded system that enables us to live full and independent lives, no matter the unexpected challenges we may face.
If these cuts go to a vote I will be voting against them. Under the last Tory government, billionaires’ wealth more than trebled whilst disabled people bore the brunt of vicious austerity cuts. A repeat of this is the last thing we need.
